We rent, which mean our landlord pays for any repairs to our place that aren’t our fault. Our kitchen faucet suddenly stopped giving out hot water, and as handy as I am in the house (not very) I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. He agreed we should call in a plumber.
So they came, fixed some broken washers, gave me a bill and I payed it by cheque. Half an hour later, they called me back and said they lost the cheque. No problem, come back and I’ll dish out another one. In the meantime, I went online and cancelled the cheque, costing me $15.
I deducted the $15 from the new cheque and sent them on their way. Half an hour later, their boss called and demanded I cough up the $15 … stupid I told the boys that showed up that our landlord was paying for it, not sure why I did, but I did … anyways, his justification was that the landlord was paying for it so what did I care?
He called me back this morning again, and I refused. My logic was that his boys lost it, they should be paying the $15, not me, and certainly not my landlord.
More arguing from him. Get lost.
Man, some days I just wake up feeling like I’ve abused my body just a little to much the past couple of weeks. Switching gyms had helped a lot.

I hope so. But I’d be way more impressed if they got of their asses and made a proper shared groups / contacts tool for Google Apps.
Floreysoft’s Shared Groups sucks.
Assholes.
Going to a new gym days the trick. I went back to where I started two years ago, the Port Moody Recreation Centre, bought a ten visit pass, and just had the best workout in months.
I’m looking forward to a Sunny Saturday or Sunday so I can drag the canoe up to the lake for some more enjoyable exercise.
